Prep time: 5 minutes
Chill time: 6 hours
Cook time: n/a
Yield: Serves 1
Ingredients
1/2 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup Quick Oats (Quick oats make it softer and creamier, old-fashioned oats will be chewier)
1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (e.g. sugar, honey, maple syrup, zero calorie, etc.)
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon French Vanilla Amazing Creamer
Optional add-ins
1/2 sliced banana
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
1 tablespoon chopped nuts
1/2 tablespoon of almond butter, chocolate syrup, or melted cookie butter for drizzling
Directions
- Pour the milk into a 16-ounce mason jar. Alternatively, you can use a container or bowl.
- Add the Greek yogurt, oats, cocoa powder, sweetener, and Amazing Creamer. Then, stir until well combined. If using a mason jar, place the lid on the jar and shake, if you prefer.
- Place the oats into the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight. The longer they chill, the better the texture will be.
- Scoop the oats into a bowl to serve. Top with your preference of chocolate chips, nuts, bananas, berries, and drizzles of nut butter for extra flavor. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- To heat the overnight oats, warm them in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second increments stirring between each heating session. When overheated they can quickly become gummy so I recommend serving chilled or room temperature for the best taste.
Enjoy!
